11 an hour A leading developer and manufacturer of custom foodservice equipment located in Savannah, TN, has an immediate job opening for a Drafter.
Candidate must have at least 5 years' experience with CAD detailing and design in the foodservice industry.
Candidate will be responsible for the following:
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for millwork and stainless foodservice equipment, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
Knowledge of multiple areas a plus, including millwork, stainless, refrigeration, and stone surfaces.
Lay out and draw schematic or angle views to depict functional relationships of components and assemblies.
Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
Check dimensions of materials to be used.
Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
Position instructions and comments onto drawings.
Design scale or full-size blueprints of specialty items such as millwork or stainless fabricated foodservice equipment.
Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems and equipment associated with foodservice equipment.
Must be able to produce manufacturing engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
